With the victory, Monroe advances its record to 8-5 on the year. The Dragons travel to Oakridge (Oakridge, OR) to meet the Warriors in a 2A East Cascades battle on Friday, January 10. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 1-8. Oakridge lost 73-14 in their recent league outing against Central Linn (Halsey, OR)
The Trojans (5-7) will now prepare for their outing against Regis (Stayton, OR). The Rams come into the 2A Tri-River outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, Regis was nipped by Crane (Crane, OR), 61-35, in a non-league outing.
