Oregon High School Basketball - Sheldon holds off Lake Oswego
January 7, 2025: Lake Oswego, OR 97034 The Sheldon Irish basketball team scored 42 points and limited the host Lake Oswego Lakers to 37 in the Irish non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Irish now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they host South Medford for a 6A Southwest game on Friday, January 10. Sheldon will confront a Panthers team coming off a 93-33 non-league win over Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 10-2.
With the loss, Lake Oswego falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Sunset (Portland, OR) to confront the Apollos in a non-league game on Friday, January 10. The Apollos go into the game with a record of 2-8. Sunset lost 39-34 in their recent non-league game against Ridgeview (Redmond, OR)
