The Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO) basketball edged the visiting Legacy Lightning (Broomfield, CO), 53-50 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Mavericks now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Silver Creek for a 6A/5A/4A Granite Peaks bout on Friday, January 10. Mead will play a Raptors team coming off a 63-18 league loss to Erie (Erie, CO). The Raptors record now stands at 2-6.
