January 7, 2025: Linton, ND 58552 Trinity Titans (Dickinson, ND) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Lions (Linton, ND), 39-35 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Trinity advances its record to 5-6 on the year. The Titans host Stanley (Stanley, ND) to meet the Blue Jays in a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. The Blue Jays enter the match with a record of 4-6. Stanley lost 60-27 in their recent non-league match against Watford City (Watford City, ND)
The Lions now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter for a B District 2 match on Thursday, January 9. Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock will meet a Imperials squad coming off a 55-31 league loss to Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] (Steele, ND). The Imperials record now stands at 2-7.
