South Dakota High School Basketball - Lyman triumphant over Lower Brule
January 7, 2025: Presho, SD 57568 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lyman Raiders (Presho, SD) and the visiting Lower Brule Sioux (Lower Brule, SD), observed Lyman's basketball team overwhelm Lower Brule by a score of 71-10.
The Raiders (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Gregory (Gregory, SD). The Gorillas come into the B Region 5 challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Gregory was routed by Andes Central/Dakota Christian (Lake Andes, SD), 65-20, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Sioux encounter the Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Lower Brule will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 89-16 league loss to Mahpiya Luta (Pine Ridge, SD).
