Ohio High School Basketball - Margaretta sneaks past Norwalk
January 7, 2025: Norwalk, OH 44857 The Margaretta Polar Bears (Castalia, OH) basketball edged the host Norwalk Truckers (Norwalk, OH), 41-38 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Polar Bears now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Edison for a Sandusky Bay - Bay bout on Saturday, January 11. Margaretta will play a Chargers team coming off a 36-32 non-league win over Crestview (Ashland, OH). The Chargers record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Norwalk falls to 10-1 on the campaign. The Truckers host Lexington (Lexington, OH) to play the Minutemen in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. The Minutemen go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Lexington lost 62-50 in their recent non-league bout against Clyde (Clyde, OH)
