The Memphis School of Excellence Winchester Eagles basketball squad (Memphis, TN), was outscored 52-41 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host University Tigers (Memphis, TN)

With the victory, University advances its record to 12-3 on the year. The Tigers host Booker T. Washington (Memphis, TN) to meet the Warriors in a 1A District 15 battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 5-7. Booker T. Washington won 40-38 in their recent non-league battle against Mitchell (Memphis, TN)

The Eagles now own a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host City University School of Liberal Arts for a 1A District 16 battle on Friday, January 10. Memphis School of Excellence Winchester will meet a squad coming off a 34-22 non-league win over Sheffield (Memphis, TN). The record now stands at 2-8.
