Illinois High School Basketball - Oswego East sneaks past Neuqua Valley
January 7, 2025: Naperville, IL 60564 The Oswego East Wolves (Oswego, IL) basketball edged the host Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL), 62-57 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Wolves now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Plainfield East for a SouthWest Prairie - East bout on Thursday, January 9. Oswego East will play a Bengals team coming off a 60-29 non-league loss to Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL). The Bengals record now stands at 3-14.
With the loss, Neuqua Valley falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats host DeKalb (DeKalb, IL) to play the Barbs in a DuPage Valley bout on Thursday, January 9. The Barbs go into the bout with a record of 10-5. DeKalb won 39-31 in their recent non-league bout against Oswego (Oswego, IL)
