January 7, 2025: Eugene, OR 97404 In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host North Eugene Highlanders basketball squad scored a decisive 65-27 victory over the Roseburg Indians.
With the victory, North Eugene advances its record to 6-6 on the year. The Highlanders host Crater (Central Point, OR) to meet the Comets in a 5A Midwestern battle on Friday, January 10. The Comets enter the battle with a record of 12-1. Crater won 60-44 in their recent non-league battle against Philomath (Philomath, OR)
The Indians now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Willamette for a 6A Southwest battle on Friday, January 10. Roseburg will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 70-63 non-league win over West Linn (West Linn, OR). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-5.
