Oregon High School Basketball - Sutherlin triumphant over North Valley
January 7, 2025: Sutherlin, OR 97479 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sutherlin Bulldogs (Sutherlin, OR) and the visiting North Valley Knights (Grants Pass, OR), observed Sutherlin's basketball team overwhelm North Valley by a score of 48-19.
The Bulldogs (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Cascade Christian (Medford, OR). The Challengers come into the 3A Southern Oregon challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Cascade Christian was routed by Amity (Amity, OR), 62-35, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Knights battle the South Umpqua Lancers (Myrtle Creek, OR) in a 3A Far West challenge, on Friday, January 10. North Valley will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 45-33 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Medford, OR).
