The Spring Woods Tigers defeated the visiting Terry Rangers basketball squad by a final score of 53-38 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Waltrip Rams (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 21 outing, on Friday, January 10. Spring Woods will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Rams come into the outing with a 2-9 record after their 37-23 league loss to Milby (Houston, TX).

The Rangers (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City, TX). The Buffalos come into the 5A Region III District 22 outing with a 18-4 record. In their last outing, Fort Bend Marshall overcame Victoria West (Victoria, TX), 49-45, in a league outing.
