The Biggs Wolverines (Biggs, CA) basketball edged the visiting Corning Cardinals (Corning, CA), 43-42 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Wolverines now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Quincy for a bout on Tuesday, January 14. Biggs will play a Trojans team coming off a 41-32 non-league loss to Yreka (Yreka, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Corning falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Gridley (Gridley, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a bout on Friday, January 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 8-4.
