Rhode Island High School Basketball - Blackstone Valley Prep knocks off Mt. Pleasant
January 7, 2025: Cumberland, RI In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE basketball team scored a good 40-27 win over the Mt. Pleasant Kilties.
The PRIDE (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pilgrim (Warwick, RI). The Patriots enter the non-league match with a 2-1 record.
The Kilties now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pilgrim for a non-league match on Friday, January 10. Mt. Pleasant will face a Patriots squad coming off a 38-23 non-league win over Cranston East (Cranston, RI). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.
