California High School Basketball - El Capitan toppled by Pitman
January 7, 2025: Turlock, CA 95382 Pitman Pride (Turlock, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA), 48-31 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Pitman advances its record to 13-2 on the year. The Pride host Kimball (Tracy, CA) to face the Jaguars in a non-league match on Friday, January 10. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 10-2. Kimball lost 56-27 in their recent league match against Lincoln (Stockton, CA)
The Gauchos now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Merced for a match on Tuesday, January 14.
