California High School Basketball - Homestead can't hold off Menlo School
January 7, 2025: Cupertino, CA 95014 Menlo School Knights (Atherton, CA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA), 30-27 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Menlo School advances its record to 4-0 on the year. The Knights host Aragon (San Mateo, CA) to face the Dons in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. The Dons enter the match with a record of 7-5.
The Mustangs now own a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Los Gatos for a match on Saturday, January 11. Homestead will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 43-30 league win over Los Altos (Los Altos, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-0.
