January 7, 2025: Las Vegas, NM 87701 West Las Vegas Dons (Las Vegas, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), 46-33 in a non-league match.
With the victory, West Las Vegas upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Dons host Moriarty (Moriarty, NM) to face the Pintos in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. The Pintos enter the match with a record of 0-3.
The Hilltoppers now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Capital for a non-league match on Thursday, January 9. Los Alamos will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 61-10 non-league loss to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-4.
