California High School Basketball - Mt. Carmel thwarts San Dieguito Academy
January 7, 2025: San Diego, CA 92129 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA) and the visiting San Dieguito Academy Mustangs (Encinitas, CA), observed Mt. Carmel's basketball team knock off San Dieguito Academy by a score of 44-28.
The Sundevils (13-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Vista (Vista, CA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Vista prevailed over Valley Center (Valley Center, CA), 61-8, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Sage Creek Bobcats (Carlsbad, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 10. San Dieguito Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 45-13 non-league loss to San Marcos (San Marcos, CA).
