Louisiana High School Basketball - Rayville nips Carroll
January 8, 2022: Rayville, LA 71269 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Rayville Hornets (Rayville, LA) and the visiting Carroll Bulldogs (Monroe, LA), saw Rayville's basketball squad hold off Carroll by a tally of 65-62.
With the victory, Rayville improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Hornets host Neville (Monroe, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 17. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 16-3.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Richwood Rams (Monroe, LA) in a 3A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 11. Carroll will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 71-69 non-league win over Winnfield (Winnfield, LA).
