The Olympian Eagles basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Central Spartans to 60 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Miguel for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 11. Olympian will battle a Matadors team coming off a 78-50 league loss to Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 4-11.

The Spartans (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Holtville (Holtville, CA). The Vikings come into the Imperial Valley contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Holtville was defeated by Imperial (Imperial, CA), 63-48, in a non-league contest.
