January 8, 2022: Glen Burnie, MD 21060 Glen Burnie Gophers (Glen Burnie, MD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Crofton (Gambrills, MD), 69-52 in a league bout.
With the victory, Glen Burnie upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Gophers travel to Chopticon (Morganza, MD) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Braves come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Chopticon won 65-49 in their recent non-league bout against Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD)
Next up, the play the Chesapeake Cougars (Pasadena, MD) in a Anne Arundel County bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Crofton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 71-49 league loss to Severna Park (Severna Park, MD).
