January 8, 2022: Mooreville, MS 38857 The Mooreville Troopers basketball team (Mooreville, MS), was overwhelmed 84-47 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Nettleton Tigers (Nettleton, MS)
The Tigers now possess a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Noxubee County for a 3A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, January 11. Nettleton will battle a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Kemper County (DeKalb, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 8-7.
The Troopers (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS). The Indians come into the 4A Region 1 challenge with a 3-11 record.
