Indiana High School Basketball - Wes-Del nudges Tri-Central

January 8, 2022: Gaston, IN 47342

Wes-Del Warriors (Gaston, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN), 73-68 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wes-Del upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Warriors host Cowan (Muncie, IN) to clash with the Blackhawks in a Mid-Eastern bout on Saturday, January 29. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a record of 0-9.

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Rossville Hornets (Rossville, IN) in a Hoosier Heartland bout, on Friday, January 14. Tri-Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 56-41 league win over Sheridan (Sheridan, IN).
