Louisiana High School Basketball - Archbishop Chapelle thwarts Dunham
January 8, 2022: Metairie, LA 70003 The Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks (Metairie, LA) basketball knocked off the visiting Dunham Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA), 47-36 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Chipmunks (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Carmel (New Orleans, LA). The Cubs go into the 5A District 9 test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Mt. Carmel went down by Amite (Amite, LA), 58-28, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to St. John for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 11. Dunham will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 35-31 non-league win over Live Oak (Watson, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 14-1.
