Washington High School Basketball - Charles Wright overwhelms Vashon Island
January 8, 2022: Tacoma, WA 98467 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Charles Wright Tarriers (Tacoma, WA) and the visiting Vashon Island Pirates (Vashon Island, WA), saw Charles Wright's basketball squad wallop Vashon Island by a tally of 37-5.
With the victory, Charles Wright improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Tarriers host Annie Wright (Tacoma, WA) to confront the Gators in a 1A Nisqually challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 4-0.
Next up, the Pirates confront the Cedar Park Christian Eagles (Bothell, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 15. Vashon Island will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
