Washington High School Basketball - Chelan nips Tonasket
January 8, 2022: Tonasket, WA 98855 Chelan Mountain Goats (Chelan, WA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Tonasket Tigers (Tonasket, WA), 48-44 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Chelan upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Mountain Goats travel to Cascade (Leavenworth, WA) to play the Kodiaks in a 1A Caribou Trail bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Kodiaks come into the bout with a record of 0-6. Cascade lost 30-21 in their recent league bout against Quincy (Quincy, WA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Oroville Hornets (Oroville, WA) in a 2B Central Washington bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Tonasket will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 72-33 non-league loss to Inchelium (Inchelium, WA).
