New Jersey High School Basketball - Columbia nips Roselle Catholic
January 8, 2022: Maplewood, NJ 07040 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Columbia Cougars (Maplewood, NJ) and the visiting Roselle Catholic Lions (Roselle, NJ), saw Columbia's basketball squad hold off Roselle Catholic by a count of 56-50.
With the victory, Columbia upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign.
Next up, the Lions play the Holy Cross Knights (Flushing, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 15. Roselle Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 45-30 league win over Fontbonne Hall Academy (Brooklyn, NY).
