The Naperville Central Redhawks basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Plainfield Central Wildcats to 53 in the Redhawks non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Redhawks now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DeKalb for a DuPage Valley contest on Tuesday, January 11. Naperville Central will battle a Barbs team coming off a 51-42 non-league win over Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL). The Barbs record now stands at 9-5.

The Wildcats (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Oswego East (Oswego, IL). The Wolves enter the SouthWest Prairie - West contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Oswego East was nudged by Romeoville (Romeoville, IL), 54-50, in a league contest.
