Wyoming High School Basketball - Rock River holds off Niobrara County
January 8, 2022: Lusk, WY 82225 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Rock River Longhorns (Rock River, WY) and the host Niobrara County Tigers (Lusk, WY), saw Rock River's basketball squad hold off Niobrara County by a tally of 31-28.
With the victory, Rock River improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Encampment (Encampment, WY) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 14. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Encampment won 47-25 in their recent non-league challenge against HEM (Hanna, WY)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Lingle-Fort Laramie Doggers (Lingle, WY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 14. Niobrara County will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record.
