Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Upper St. Clair fells Norwin
January 8, 2022: Upper St. Clair, PA 15241 Upper St. Clair Panthers (Upper St. Clair, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Norwin Knights (North Huntingdon, PA), 42-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Upper St. Clair upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Peters Township (McMurray, PA) to play the Indians in a WPIAL 6A 2 bout on Monday, January 10. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Peters Township won 57-48 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA)
Next up, the Knights play the Seneca Valley Raiders (Harmony, PA) in a WPIAL 6A 1 bout, on Monday, January 10. Norwin will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 50-46 league win over Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA).
