Louisiana High School Soccer - Grant knocks off Wossman
January 8, 2022: Monroe, LA 71202 Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Wossman Wildcats (Monroe, LA), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars confront the Bolton Bears (Alexandria, LA) in a Division III District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 11. Grant will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Tioga (Tioga, LA).
The Wildcats now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin Parish for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 11. Wossman will confront a Patriots team coming off a 1-1 non-league Delta Charter (Ferriday, LA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-2.
