Nevada High School Basketball - Valley fells Cheyenne
January 8, 2022: North Las Vegas, NV 89032 Valley Vikings (Las Vegas, NV) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV), 40-28 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Valley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vikings host Shadow Ridge (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Mustangs in a bout on Wednesday, January 19. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 7-3.
Next up, the Desert Shields play the Legacy Longhorns (North Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 10. Cheyenne will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 53-46 non-league loss to Faith Lutheran (Las Vegas, NV).
