New Mexico High School Basketball - Rio Rancho topped by Hope Christian
January 8, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87109 The Hope Christian Huskies basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Rio Rancho Rams to 52 in the Huskies non-league victory on Saturday.
The Huskies now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grants for a non-league contest on Monday, January 10. Hope Christian will battle a Pirates team coming off a 75-51 non-league loss to Taos (Taos, NM). The Pirates record now stands at 6-4.
The Rams (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Sandia prevailed over Manzano (Albuquerque, NM), 80-43, in a league contest.
