Massachusetts High School Basketball - Boston College High knocked off by Mansfield
January 8, 2023: Mansfield, MA 02048 The Mansfield Hornets basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Boston College High Eagles to 41 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Hornets now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Taunton for a Hockomock contest on Tuesday, January 10. Mansfield will meet a Tigers team coming off a 61-53 league loss to Franklin (Franklin, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-2.
The Eagles (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. John's Prep (Danvers, MA). The Eagles enter the Catholic contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, St. John's Prep was defeated by St. John's (Shrewsbury, MA), 60-43, in a league contest.
