January 8, 2023: Gates Mills, OH 44040 Fans at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Maple Heights Mustangs (Maple Heights, OH) and the host Gilmour Academy Lancers (Gates Mills, OH), saw Maple Heights's basketball squad knock off Gilmour Academy by a tally of 57-44.
With the victory, Maple Heights improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Brush (Lyndhurst, OH) to play the Arcs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Arcs come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Brush won 54-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Brecksville-Broadview Heights (Broadview Heights, OH)
Next up, the Lancers play the University School Preppers (Hunting Valley, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. Gilmour Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record.
