Illinois High School Basketball - Hancock overwhelmed by Kaneland
January 8, 2024: Chicago, IL 60629 The Kaneland Knights basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the host Hancock Eagles to 28 in the Knights non-league victory on Monday.
The Knights now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ottawa for a Interstate Eight match on Friday, January 12. Kaneland will meet a Pirates team coming off a 53-29 league loss to LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 7-7.
With the defeat, Hancock moves to 1-16 on the year. The Eagles travel to Catalyst-Maria (Chicago, IL) to meet the Wolves in a Chicago Public - White Central match on Tuesday, January 9. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 3-12. Catalyst-Maria won 38-37 in their recent non-league match against UIC College Prep (Chicago, IL)
