Washington High School Basketball - Lynnwood nips Ballard
January 8, 2024: Seattle, WA 98117 Lynnwood Royals (Bothell, WA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Ballard Beavers (Seattle, WA), 61-54 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lynnwood upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Royals host Edmonds-Woodway (Edmonds, WA) to play the Warriors in a 2A/3A Wesco bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Edmonds-Woodway won 48-38 in their recent league bout against Cedarcrest (Duvall, WA)
Next up, the Beavers play the Rainier Beach Vikings (Seattle, WA) in a 3A Metro bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Ballard will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 league loss to Ingraham (Seattle, WA).
