California High School Basketball - El Cerrito ripped by Castlemont
January 8, 2024: Oakland, CA 94605 The Castlemont Knights basketball squad scored 61 points and limited the visiting El Cerrito Gauchos to 20 in the Knights non-league win on Monday.
The Knights (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against Skyline (Oakland, CA). The Titans go into the Oakland outing with a 1-5 record. In their last outing, Skyline smashed Concord (Concord, CA), 42-27, in a non-league outing.
The Gauchos now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennedy for a Tri-County - Stone contest on Tuesday, January 9. El Cerrito will battle a Eagles team coming off a 0-0 non-league AIMS College Prep (Oakland, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-8.
