In Monday's non-league outing, the Central Columbia Bluejays (Bloomsburg, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Northwest Area Rangers (Shickshinny, PA), by a margin of 58-27.

The Bluejays (12-1) will now prepare for their outing against Montoursville (Montoursville, PA). The Warriors go into the Heartland II outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Montoursville smashed Midd-West (Middleburg, PA), 52-27, in a league outing.

The Rangers now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they host South Williamsport for a Mid-Penn - D4 outing on Wednesday, January 10. Northwest Area will clash with a Mountaineers squad coming off a 45-34 league loss to Neumann Regional Academy (Williamsport, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 2-6.
