The Moon Valley Rockets (Phoenix, AZ) basketball beat the visiting Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ), 57-42 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Rockets (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Greenway (Phoenix, AZ). The Demons go into the 4A Skyline outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, Greenway was topped by Poston Butte (San Tan Valley, AZ), 49-13, in a non-league outing.
