January 8, 2024: Daytona Beach, FL 32124 Father Lopez Green Wave (Daytona Beach, FL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lake Mary Prep Griffins (Lake Mary, FL), 73-13 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Father Lopez upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Green Wave travel to Seabreeze (Daytona Beach, FL) to play the Sandcrabs in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Sandcrabs come into the bout with a record of 1-10. Seabreeze lost 59-28 in their recent non-league bout against Flagler Palm Coast (Palm Coast, FL)
Next up, the Griffins play the Holy Cross Lutheran Academy Crusaders (Sanford, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Lake Mary Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 46-0 non-league loss to Orangewood Christian (Maitland, FL).
