Washington High School Basketball - Jefferson knocked off by Mt. Rainier
January 8, 2024: Auburn, WA 98001 The Mt. Rainier Rams basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Jefferson Raiders to 38 in the Rams league triumph on Monday.
The Rams now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Decatur for a 3A/4A North Puget Sound - Olympic contest on Thursday, January 11. Mt. Rainier will battle a Golden Gators team coming off a 57-54 non-league win over Rogers (Puyallup, WA). The Golden Gators record now stands at 9-3.
The Raiders (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Auburn Riverside (Auburn, WA). The Ravens enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Auburn Riverside ran past Beamer (Federal Way, WA), 53-38, in a league contest.
