January 8, 2024: Rockland, ID 83271 In Monday's non-league outing, the Oakley Hornets (Oakley, ID) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Rockland Bulldogs (Rockland, ID), by a count of 56-28.
The Hornets (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against Shoshone (Shoshone, ID). The Indians go into the 1A I Snake River outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, Shoshone was crushed by Raft River (Malta, ID), 54-14, in a league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Leadore for a 1A II Rocky Mountain outing on Tuesday, January 9. Rockland will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 39-29 non-league win over Challis (Challis, ID). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-3.
