Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the West Seneca West Warhawks (West Seneca, NY) and the host Sacred Heart Academy Sharks (Buffalo, NY), saw West Seneca West's basketball squad hold off Sacred Heart Academy by a tally of 43-42.

With the victory, West Seneca West improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Warhawks travel to Sweet Home (Amherst, NY) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Sweet Home won 62-46 in their recent league challenge against Williamsville East (East Amherst, NY)

Next up, the Sharks confront the St. Mary's Lancers (Lancaster, NY) in a Monsignor Martin challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Sacred Heart Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record.
