New Jersey High School Basketball - Seneca thwarts Trenton Central
January 8, 2024: Trenton, NJ 08609 The Seneca Golden Eagles (Tabernacle, NJ) basketball knocked off the host Trenton Central Tornadoes (Trenton, NJ), 41-25 in Monday's non-league test.
The Golden Eagles (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Moorestown (Moorestown, NJ). The Quakers go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Moorestown notched a victory over Kingsway (Woolwich Township, NJ), 72-27, in a non-league test.
The Tornadoes now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Hightstown for a Colonial Valley - Colonial test on Tuesday, January 9. Trenton Central will battle a Rams team coming off a 61-58 non-league win over Wildwood (Wildwood, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 8-1.
