The Sanderson Spartans basketball team (Raleigh, NC), was overwhelmed 38-17 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Knightdale Knights (Knightdale, NC)

The Knights now possess a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cleveland for a non-league battle on Friday, January 12. Knightdale will confront a Rams team coming off a 37-30 league loss to Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Rams record now stands at 5-3.
