January 8, 2024: Poughkeepsie, NY 12603 The Saugerties Sawyers (Saugerties, NY) basketball knocked off the host Poughkeepsie Pioneers (Poughkeepsie, NY), 58-48 in Monday's non-league test.
The Sawyers (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Rondout Valley (Accord, NY). The Ganders go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Rondout Valley notched a victory over Livingston Manor (Livingston Manor, NY), 52-25, in a non-league test.
The Pioneers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Red Hook for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16.
