The Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Bayside Marlins to 46 in the Mighty Oaks non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mighty Oaks now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Catholic for a VISAA Division I game on Tuesday, January 14. Norfolk Collegiate will play a Crusaders team coming off a 69-54 non-league win over Norview (Norfolk, VA). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Bayside falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Marlins travel to Green Run (Virginia Beach, VA) to play the Stallions in a Beach game on Friday, January 10.
