Massachusetts High School Basketball - Leicester nips Tahanto Regional
January 8, 2025: Leicester, MA 01524 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Leicester Wolverines basketball team scored a close 49-47 win over the Tahanto Regional Stags.
The Wolverines (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Oxford (Oxford, MA). The Pirates come into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Oxford was tipped by Uxbridge (Uxbridge, MA), 75-42, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Stags battle the Murdock Blue Devils (Winchendon, MA) in a Midland-Wachusett E contest, on Friday, January 10. Tahanto Regional will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record.
