California High School Basketball - Venture Academy thwarts McNair

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Venture Academy Mustangs (Stockton, CA) and the visiting McNair Eagles (Stockton, CA), observed Venture Academy's basketball team knock off McNair by a score of 75-61.

The Mustangs (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, King's Academy prevailed over Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA), 69-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Franklin Yellowjackets (Stockton, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 10. McNair will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 1-15 record after their 63-42 non-league loss to Stagg (Stockton, CA).
