The Eastern Hancock Royals bounced the host Blue River Valley Vikings basketball squad by a final score of 59-20 in Wednesday's league outing.

Next, the Royals clash with the Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 11. Eastern Hancock will attempt to upgrade on its 14-2 season record. The Patriots come into the outing with a 9-4 record after their 52-41 non-league loss to Franklin County (Brookville, IN).

The Vikings (3-13) will now prepare for their outing against Union (Modoc, IN). The Rockets come into the Mid-Eastern outing with a 4-9 record. In their last outing, Union was overwhelmed by Monroe Central (Parker City, IN), 61-25, in a non-league outing.
